The Uchal festival, like many other festivals throughout the year, is one of the cultural festivals celebrated by the Kalasha tribe. The Kalash group also performs Ranat dance in July before Uchal after harvesting the corn crop.
The Uchal festival continues to travel on to various locations throughout the valley for several more days.
However, aside from Anish, Broon Karakul and other small villages in Kalash Valley, the mega event of the Uchal festival is organized in Bamburet.
