Ziarat

The Quaid-e-Azam Residency, commonly known as Ziarat Residency, is located in Ziarat, Balochistan, Pakistan. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Quaid-e-Azam, spent the last two months and ten days of his life here, nursing A. S. and Nathaniel. It was built in 1892 under the British Raj and is the town’s most visible landmark.

The Juniper Forest in Ziarat is well-known. With a few other Balochistan mountain ranges, the Zarghoon mount range is recognized as the world’s second-largest juniper forest. Ziarat owns the juniper woodlands in question. It has a total area of about 247,000 hectares.
