Quetta, Pakistan’s provincial capital and largest metropolis, is the largest city in Balochistan. It is also Pakistan’s tenth largest city. The earthquake in Quetta in 1935 severely damaged the city, but it was rebuilt and now has a population of 4,678,932 people, according to the 2017 census.
It is known for its honey-sweet apples and a variety of other fruits. Apples and grapes of many types flourish in Quetta. The orchards cover the entire outskirts of Quetta and other major cities. Quetta is known as Pakistan’s Fruit Basket because of its abundance of fruit.
