One of Pakistan’s largest cultural festivals is the Choimus Kalash Winter Festival. Throughout the year, the Kalasha tribe hosts a number of events. The three major Kalash Festivals are Chilam Joshi (spring festival), Choimus (winter festival), and Uchal (summer festival).
The Choimus Kalash Winter Festival, held in the Hindukush mountain ranges, is a fantastic cultural event.
In 2018 the UNESCO listed Kalash culture as “Intangible Cultural Heritage.”
The decision was made at the 13th session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee, which was held in Mauritius.
